Supernatural

Our youth Pastor, David, is gifted when it comes to prayer. He’s eloquent and heartfelt and he certainly covers all the bases. (That’s the nicest way I can say that his prayers can be pretty long! LOL) Pastor Jerry jokingly told David that if he didn’t start shortening his prayers, he was gonna start taking notes! Well during David’s prayer one night, he said something that I DID write down. While he was praying for Pastor Jerry, he used the word supernatural, and then he asked for God to put His super on Pastor’s natural. I love that!

In this world, we are in the natural realm; we are sitting ducks for the enemy, clueless and hopeless. BUT, with God on our side, we become warriors, filled with wisdom and hope, and though we are still in the world, we’ve suddenly been transformed to the SUPER natural, able to do great things! There’s another word that comes to mind…extraordinary. If you look at this word as a compound word, extra and ordinary, that might be taken as just being extra plain. But if you pronounce the word correctly… ex·traor·di·nar·y…it’s not a compound word, and it means remarkable, exceptional, incredible! In the natural, we are ordinary, but with God we become extraordinarily AMAZING!!! Here’s hoping He puts His SUPER on your natural and His EXTRA on your ordinary today!
